S4 Display cabinet

Hanne Willmann has always had a connection to the Bauhaus, most recently through teaching assignments in Dessau, and now through the S4 display case she created for Tecta.‎ To plan the new S4 showcase, Hanne Willmann visited the company's headquarters in Lauenförde several times and was inspired by the history and production of the original Bauhaus editions.‎

That the S4 showcase should quote the floating moment of the famous cantilever chairs was only one of the driving ideas that distinguish the furniture.‎ What is surprising is the compartment, which is located in the upper area and seems to float on the transparent glass shelves, lacquered in black.‎ The body itself, made of wood and optionally equipped with folding surfaces, doors or drawers, offers invisible storage space.‎
