Couldn't load pickup availability
As a constructive further development of the tube deformation, similar to the "tube aplati" principle according to the patents of 1987 and 1990, Tecta developed the "tube oblique" in 2005. This is a "three-dimensional tube deformation", which the Düsseldorf Regional Court attests a "peculiar aesthetic" due to the "three-dimensionally shaped flat steel tube" and an "interplay between the lines of the steel tube edge pointing towards the outside and the obliquely inwardly directed side surfaces".
The result was Oblique, an extensive series of endlessly curved tubular steel tables whose striking, defining aesthetic is the product of constructive imagination. Even Jean Prouvé recognised that the bent round steel tubes in furniture were done without thought and told Axel Bruchhäuser: "You have to feel how the material thinks."
