B29P is a tubular steel cantilever chair without armrests, with upholstered seat and backrest by Tecta.‎

In 1978, Axel Bruchhäuser (among others) of Tecta, in collaboration with Mart Stam, Marcel Breuer and Jean Prouvé, started the further development of this rear-legless design of the 1920s.‎ The aim was to increase the strength in the endangered cross-section of the steel tube.‎ Following the constructive idea of "tube aplati", which Jean Prouvé had already been using since 1924, Axel Bruchhäuser received a German patent in 1987 and the European patent for the stackable cantilever chair "tube aplati" in 1990.‎ Today, the Tecta cantilever chair is a classic, icon and trademark at the same time.‎
