BLUME SYSTEM 105x32 is an open aluminium and marble bookcase. It is a furnishings that echoes the sophisticated flower-shaped profile in extruded aluminium of the seating collection with the same name. The different elements are available in several sizes, from a two-level bedside table, to a three- or four-level bookcase system with steel structure fastened together by means of aluminium castings, with no visible screws, so as to highlight the precious details of the legs while being both stable and durable at the same time. The aluminium is anodised in various finishes or coated in a variety of colours. This, combined with elegant shelves in marble or more innovative materials, allows for utmost customisation and versatility.
Drawing inspiration from the concepts of elegance and sophistication, the Blume collection stems from the collaboration inaugurated in 2020 between the German designer Sebastian Herkner and Pedrali. Featured by a soft and rounded shape, both chair and lounge armchair owe their distinctive appearance to their sophisticated flower-shaped profile in extruded aluminium. Indeed, the name “Blume”, German for “flower”, highlights the design’s iconic decorative detail, while paying tribute to the designer's origins.
An extremely comfortable collection, in which the slender frame and the soft, generous polyurethane foam are harmoniously combined.
The steel structural element, placed under the seat to strengthen the chair and to secure the legs is removable: this way all product’s components can be disassembled and disposed of correctly at the end of their life cycle.
The Blume collection focuses on the wellness of the human being; in fact, its enveloping softness makes it ideal for a relaxing situation.
The collection is complemented by a set of coffee tables featuring the seating’s flower-shaped profile, which protrudes visibly beyond the perimeter of the top. Available in three heights and in various sizes, the Blume tables may be combined to create different compositions. The different table tops and finishes available reflect the collection’s versatility and ease of adaptation to any setting.
