About the design
The AQ01™ offers a fresh take on the classic architect’s desk light. Distinguished by its delicate lines and matt finish, the light offers a refined elegance and genius utility. Technology allows springs to be hidden within the design and AQ01’s shade to be switched on and off, or dimmed up and down, with the touch of a hand on the lamp’s shade. The wall solution is a minimal task light with great adjustability.
About the designer
Anne Qvist’s design expresses a sense of pragmatism combined with respect for both craftsmanship and context. She believes in changeability and diversity, and emphasizes design that is able to enter many different contexts with a high level of usability, functionality and humanity. She categorizes design in a larger context, where it takes on new meaning and has the ability to enact change.
