Besides the Capsule 1- and 2-seater, now there are also Lounge and Bench options available within the program. The characteristic round shapes remain intact and invite you to create accessible arrangements in open spaces. Capsule Lounge acquires a more open character by halving the cocoon. This makes it ideal for informal settings. Its iconic design gives every room a warm, modern look.
Capsule won the FX International Interior Design Award ‘Product of the Year’ in 2018 and in 2020 was awarded a German Design Award in the category ‘Excellent Product Design’ for ‘Office Furniture’.

The form and function of CAPSULE is inspired by a cocoon that guarantees security, comfort and innovation. Kateryna Sokolova designed CAPSULE to offer a stylish solution to the increasing need for concentration and privacy in office environments.
In large office spaces CAPSULE is a stylish object that creates privacy without being completely cut off from the surroundings. Here it is possible, for example, to make phone calls or to read without being disturbed. An additional advantage is that CAPSULE absorbs ambient noise, which benefits the acoustics in the space.
Cushions - Standard one seat and one back cushion. Cushions attached with Velcro on the inside of the CAPSULE.
Frame - Standard solid oak legs in lacquered S084. Steel frame standard powder coated in SFT white or SFT black. Oak legs stained in white wash or black. Other colours and finishes on request.
Upholstery - Fully upholstered including seat and back cushion; Duo upholstery with colour possible without additional price. Only available in fabric Casala Nevada.
