The straight and curved lines of the abstract pattern, which follow one another in a variable rhythm, both mirror and at the same time emphasize the natural grain of the wood, enhancing the different tonal nuances and the chiaroscuro depths in a perceptive “trick” revealed by the name of the accessory: this decoration is a subtle aesthetic tool that causes the sideboard to appear dark red in colour.
