The Platner side table by Knoll is an absolute design classic from 1966. Designed by Warren Platner, the table’s structure consists of hundreds of curved steel rods carrying a round glass table top. Platner’s vision was to capture the decorative, gentle and graceful shapes typical of modernist designs – a vision he fulfilled perfectly, as the Platner table’s design still manages to make an impression to this day.
