Secto 4240 Walnut - the beautiful pendant from Secto from Finland. The lamp is designed by Seppo Koho for Secto design and stands out beause of its simplicity and round shape. The lamp is produced in Finland and made from moulded birch rods. Secto Octo 4240 is available in four different colours: Black, white, birch and walnut. The lamp gives off an incredibly pleasant light that is spread through the slats of the lamp. Other than the pleasant light, the lamp also provides a useful downwards light which makes the pendant perfect for the spot above the dinner table. The Octo lamp is a big lamp but the design means that the lamp appears airy which makes it possible to use the lamp even in small rooms. Even though Secto is a relatively young brand, the Octo 4240 lamp can already be counted among the classics.

All Secto's lamp are produced in Finland and are made of Finnish birch plywood. The wood is PEFC-certified which ensures high quality and that the environment is taken in to consideration during the production process. This is ensured through only shipping the wood short distances and reusing leftover materials from the production to make wooden pellets. Hat's off to Secto and their ability to produce good looking and sustainable designer lamps.
