Shipping Policy

Difference Between 'Made-to-Order' and 'In-Stock' Items

Delivery Timeframe

  • The delivery time stated on the product page is an estimated timeframe, and actual delivery may vary due to brand and local circumstances in Europe.
  • Delivery Partners: DHL, MPWD logistics.

Final Purchase Price

  • The final payment amount on the website includes the product price, customs duties, basic shipping costs, and service fees.
  • If you receive a customs clearance notice, no additional action is required. If any additional customs duties are requested by the shipping company, please contact customer service for assistance.

Additional Costs

  1. Changes in Overseas Purchase Price: If the supplier changes the purchasing price after the order is placed, an additional cost may arise. In such cases, customers will be notified within 2 weeks of the order date, and can choose between:

  2. Special Delivery Conditions: Additional shipping costs may apply in certain cases:
    • If the product can be delivered via elevator or courier, standard delivery is free.
    • If elevator access is not possible, extra costs for stair carrying, ladder truck usage, or additional manpower will be charged separately.
    • Remote areas: Additional charges may apply depending on the size of the product. The exact shipping cost will be informed before the final delivery.

Shipping Methods

  • Furniture: Unless it is a small item or a direct purchase, furniture that requires assembly or installation will be delivered and installed by professional installers. Basic installation is free, but if elevator access is not possible, a ladder truck or additional labor is needed, extra fees will apply.
  • Lighting: Since wall structures and materials vary by space, installation and drilling are not provided. If required, High-Home.com can connect you with partnered installation service providers for an additional fee (minimum 100,000 KRW). Some suppliers provide direct installation services instead of High-Home.com; in such cases, the supplier will contact you directly for installation details. If you need confirmation on installation service, please contact customer service with the product link.
  • Wall drilling is not included in the installation service.

Lighting Product Information

  • All directly shipped products from overseas are handled under the "purchase agency (direct purchase)" model and are regulated under Germany’s Electrical & Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG).
  • Electric appliances (e.g., lighting products) can only be imported for personal use, and under German import regulations, you cannot import more than two identical units on the same date.
  • If you need two or more of the same lighting products, you must place separate orders with different recipients and customs clearance numbers, or place orders on different dates.
  • Some international brands do not include J-hooks or mounting brackets required for installation. If missing, these must be purchased separately.
