Design: Serge Mouille

Concept: Serge Mouille was a French designer who dedicated his life to designing lighting. He created large, angular, insect-like lamps with multiple arms and smaller, more curved wall lamps. He strove for a kinetic, sculptural aesthetic that would create a sense of movement in space. When Serge Mouille was a child, he often visited the Jardin des Plantes in Paris with his family. Mouille was incredibly inspired by nature, especially the detailed structures of plants and animals, which he spent countless hours drawing and studying closely. These details later became the hallmarks of his design creations. When you buy a Serge Mouille lamp, you get a lamp like few others.
