Gabi Peretto, always known as Omikron. Born in Italy, Chinese of adoption, got his degree in Milano with Andrea Branzi and Arturo Dell'Acqua, with a study on the requalification of the urban areas as regards to the crises of the "shape-function" relation. He has co-operated with some project and design studios, like the Andrea Branzi Studio in Milano from 1995 till 1997, and Tamra Studio in Nagoya, Japan, where he has designed buildings for Pachinko in Nagoya and Nagano. In 1998 he founded Omikron Design, and has been designing the most important collections of this Company. Since 2007 he's been working with Lucitalia as art director and industrial designers; has designed products for Danese and Fontana Arte and Nemo, Actually working as industrial design and production manager at Milano Design Terminal in Hong Kong His works are nowadays recognized by architectural magazines like Domus, Interni, AD, Ottagono DDN, as well by important other publications.

He is presently living in the Popular Republic of China, in Guangzhou town Gabi Peretto worked as industrial designer in the field of lighting and jewelry, “born and worn” in "rationalist" background ; Gabi believes that the project of design is a part of the human contemporary culture and should be characterized by imagination and beauty. To achieve “rubbish" projects should be avoided, impossible dreams, not recyclable complexity.
