Collection: Christophe Delcourt

Christophe Delcourt is a French designer who was born in Paris in 1966. He started as a self-taught producer of furniture and lighting fixtures. After founding the Delcourt Collection in 1995, he opened a gallery in the Marais district in 1998. He became part of the French and international design scene, making a name for himself through the authentic craftsmanship of his products and the quality of his workmanship. His passion for crafts, inspired by his carpenter brother and an artisan friend, translates into refined, comfortable and rigorous objects where the material becomes the protagonist thanks to super-skilful technical execution.

A network of artisans and small companies - cabinet-makers, ceramists, upholsterers, blacksmiths, stonemasons - enables him to produce custom, sustainable works between art and industrial crafts. He uses his atelier and a sample book comprising a rich range of materials, colours and finishes allowing clients to customise each project. In parallel to self-production, Delcourt has collaborated with prestigious brands like Baxter, CC-Tapis, Collection Particulière, HC28 Cosmo, Minotti, Roche Bobois, Wall&Decò.

His association with Minotti gave birth to numerous products, including the Fil chair and armchair; the modular Daniels sofa; the Dan table; the Noor occasional tables; and the Luo furniture family consisting of a sideboard, bedside table, table and small table. A rich collection of products also came to life with Baxter, with whom he has collaborated since 2010. They include Clara, a modular leather sofa; Fany, a family of tables and consoles; the Keren armchair and Beki pouf, both in leather. With Roche Bobois, he produced the Saga furniture line (tables and sideboards); the Rive Droite family (leather double bed, oak bedside table and desk); the open Legend bookcase. His production with HC28 Cosmo is varied, ranging from the Ata, Oya, Sky, Sui and Siff tables to the Noa, Bol and Oho series of chairs and sofas, and the Hap collection consisting of a double bed, armchair and sofa.

In 1999, he was named designer of the year at Maison et Objet in Paris. In 2018, the Fil Noir armchair produced by Minotti won the EDIDA Elle Deco International Design Awards and the Wallpaper* Design Awards. His works are exhibited in prestigious galleries the world over, including Andreas Murkudis (Germany), Avenue Road (Canada), LeCadre Gallery (Japan), Ondene (Australia), and Ralph Pucci (United States).
