Collection: B-LINE
Giorgio Bordin, who wanted to revive historical Italian design icons and offer furnishings for the residential and contract sectors, founded B-Line in 1999. Since the beginning, the brand has combined re-editions with contemporary furnishing accessories designed by international creatives. B-Line products are transversal, ideal for indoor and outdoor residential contexts and workspaces. They are also are suitable for furnishing those increasingly hybrid and flexible places that must satisfy the needs of everchanging contemporary lifestyles. The company pays particular attention to sustainability and the durability of its products, whose materials are entirely Made-in-Italy. B-Line's commitment to the environment involves the entire production process with its finished and semi-finished products regularly subjected to careful quality control procedures.
The modular ABS 4/4 B-Line coffee table was created in 1969 by internationally renowned designer Rodolfo Bonetto as a chameleon-like multifunctional product that quickly changes position and use, allowing new interpretations of living space. Shiny plastic, curved lines and four simple interlocking elements generate a serpentine table, a round coffee table, corner shelves and a modular bookcase. 4/4 is an intelligent solution for waiting rooms, offices, homes and studios. The Boomerang armchair is also the work of Rodolfo Bonetto. Welcoming and spacious, it is characterised by essential, soft lines and a back pocket that acts as a magazine rack. Its apparent simplicity results from Bonetto's design of an internal steel structure that gives it the evocative shape inspired by its name. Boomerang is a comfortable, high-design chair that combines top quality materials with handcrafted production, 100% Made-in-Italy.
B-Line design icon reissues
Among the historical Italian design products reissued by B-Line is the convertible Multichair by Joe Colombo. Conceived for conversation or relaxation, this armchair with a fabric seat is composed of two elements, fastened by leather straps, pins and bushings, that can also be used individually. Multichair is characterised by technical refinement, quality materials and a dual soul - serious and informal, in perfect pop style. Another iconic B-Line product is the Boby trolley, designed in 1970 by Joe Colombo, who called it a "tower cabinet" - a "rational, functional and functioning" object. Put into production by B-Line again in 1999, Boby was initially created as a dynamic piece of furniture to serve the needs of contemporary work habits and the multiple requirements of home and office. The drawers and compartments in injection-moulded ABS allow for simple vertical modularity and customised features; in addition, the five polypropylene wheels guarantee all-around mobility. The modular ABS 4/4 B-Line coffee table was created in 1969 by internationally renowned designer Rodolfo Bonetto as a chameleon-like multifunctional product that quickly changes position and use, allowing new interpretations of living space.
