Marta Sansoni

Marta Sansoni, Architect and Designer, from Florence. A Designer of Architecture and Interior Design, for Private Homes, Public Spaces and Installations, She Works in Italy and Abroad. Her Work Combines Geometric Abstraction, Rigour, Spatial Play, Attention to Detail and Monochromaticism, Creating Objects and Space, Identified by the Strong iconography of Her Sign. She has participated in numerous national and international Exhibitions and Competitions. Her Project Entitled ‘a Building for WORSHIP’ Was Published by the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Florence; SELECTED in 1991 by the department of design for the salon internship de l'Architecture in Paris Milan Architecture Fair and in 1992, at the Milan Triennale. As an Expert in the Subject, She Coordinated Seminars at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Florence Architecture Betware 1990 and 1996.

SINCE 2007 She is a member of the italian designcil (CID), an advisory body of the ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities. In 1990 She Was One of the Winners in Alessi ’s“ Memory Containers ”Competition, Becoming a Designer for the Brand on an Only Objects in the catalogue since then. For Alessi, “Folpo” Was Selected as One of the Best Designs in the World for the 1999 Edition of the “International Design Yearbook” and SINCE 2018 Has Been Part of the permanent collection of italian design at the milan triennale also for alice, “cactus!” BOWL WAS Featured Twice in the Design Store of the MOMA MUSEUM in New York Among the Best Sellers - Most Popular & Best Selling Products. IT HASO BEEN Featured in Stores at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago, The Milwaukee Art Museum (MAM), The Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Wisconsin and Other Contemporary Art Museum Shops International.

SINCE 2016, “Cactus!” BOWL HAS Entered Alessi ’s Super & Popular and“ icons ”. Over the years, The Project has Developed INTO a Large Family of Objects. In 2022 “Potty” (Outline Glass Teapot) TEA SET for IVV BECAME Part of the Products of the Moma Design Store in NY. In Product Design Shehe Has Working or Is Working for Alessor, IVV, Martinelli Luce, Studio Italia Design / Lodes, Antinori, VisConti, Serralunga, Bitossi, Pampaloni, Stayer. Her interest in Art Design Has Led to a Number of Projects Including Raw Less on Designer Ceramics.
