Guglielmo Berchicci

Born in Milano, graduated in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milano, Guglielmo Berchicci opened his studio in the '90 in a old refurbished warehouse in zona Tortona, renowned for the design, photography and fashion studios and for the exhibits events during the Milano design week. Starting at the beginning with architectural renovations and self-produced art-design objects, on show in Dilmos, the first historical art-design gallery in Milano, to arrive then to create successful icons of the Italian design as the ETA lamp for KUNDALINI, or architecture projects and interiors for famous fashion firms, as the six floors Palace for VIVIENNE WESTWOOD in Milano, luxury villas and penthouse in RUSSIAN FEDERATION, renovation and interior design of hotels, as the recent Villa Kadashi, boutique hotel in the heart of MOSCOW, project of hotel resorts and villas in SEYCHLLES, masterplan and architettural concept of residential complexes in and many others.

The design products of Guglielmo Berchicci are selling all ower the planet, some of them are part of the design permanent collections of the MoMA New York and of the TRIENNALE Design Museum of Milano and have been exhibited in the major art and design museum of the world. They have been published in the main books of design and have appeared in the interiors of many famous movies, television shows and commercials, in addition to publications on leading magazines such as Interni, Abitare, Domus, AD, Elle Decor, Ddn, Vogue and many others.

Guglielmo Berchicci is also consultant for start-up, creation and managing of new design company, from the brand naming to the art direction, as for example the renowned Italian design company Slide, which in a few years has become a protagonist of the international design scene. He has been academic in industrial and lighting design at the IED Istituto Europeo di Design of Milano and the Nuova Accademia di Brera of Milano.
