Francesco Meda Was Born in Milan in 1984, where he obtainted his degree in hydrree in industrial design from ISTITUTO EUROPEO DI DI DI DI DI DISIN in 2006. Renowned Engineer and Designer Alberto Meda. . After His Studies, He Moved to London where He Worked for Sebastian Bergne and the for Ross LoveGrove. From Bergne, He Learnt the Philosophy of Self-Production, Designing Prototypes, Sourcing, Producing in Small Quantities and Managing Communications and Distribution. This Experience Allowed Him to Follow and Understand The Production and Life Cycle of an Object. At LoveGrove, a Visionary Designer with a Well-Tructured Office and SEVERALABORATORS, He Worked with Influential Brands, Designing Concepts for Solar-Powered Vehicle, Wind Turbines, and Lamps with Oled Technology. This Laboratory of Innovation and Experimentation Taught Him the importance of Teamwork.
After His Experience Abroad, He returned to Milan in 2008 and set up a business in his factor's studio. He Worked with HIM on Numerous Projects for Clients Like Caimi Brevetti, with Whom the Co-Designed "Flap" in 2013 d'oro ". The Meda Studio is Like a Digital Renaissance-Style Workshop (3D Printers and Scanners, Parametric Software). In Parallel to His Activity with His Father, Francesco Works on Art and Design Projects with Brands and Galleries Like Nilufar Gallery, School Kong, Henraux, Kartell, Galleria Rossana Orlandi, Mint Gallery in London, Tod's, Ferragamo. For molteni & C., he designed the Woody Chair Family. With Zucchetti, Meda Created the Medameda Series of Mixers. He designed the pigreco stop and the split family of chairs for kolos and product for gandiablasco.
The Bridge Lamps and the 3D Jewellery Series Are in the Collection at the Triennale Design Museum. HIS "Orme Cinesi" Collection Was Exhibition in Hong Kong at the School at Gallery During the 2012/2013 Hong Kong Art Fair. In 2020, He was appointed co-creative director of the Acerbis Brand with Spanish David Lopez Quincoces. He has recorded numerous prizes and awards, including the german design award (2015), Compasso d'Oro (2016), The Best of Neocon Silver Award Chicago Usa, The Design Europa Award, All for Flap by Caimi Brevetti. In 2018 He Won the Red Dot Award, Best of the Best Product Design with Aledin by Kartell and in 2019, and the Wallpaper Design Awards with Woody Chair Molteni & c. In 2021, He was named designer of the year by alle decor.
