The Ramos Bassols design duo has created an armchair with wrap—around, dynamic lines, inspired by aircraft flaps. Its unusual shape is the result of a hypothetical overlap between a slimline seat and a solid volume, showcasing a skilful balance between thicknesses and concave and convex curves. The plywood structure is inspired by the maritime world and the upholstery by fashion and tailoring. The comfortable look is designed to softly surround the body with padding of different densities. Available with feet or self—aligning caster wheels, the space—saving design of this armchair means it will fit seamlessly into any environment, whether domestic or contract.
