Collection: Archirivolto - Pocci & Dondoli

Marco Pocci and Claudio Dondoli met in Florence during their university studies at the School of Architecture. While still students, with some friends, they created a group for artistic and theatrical experimentation. This experience significantly influenced their creative approach. In 1983, they founded Archirivolto Design in Colle di Val d'Elsa in the province of Siena. The studio was initially set up as a small business in architecture, interior design and furniture sales before moving on to industrial design. In the first half of the 1990s, they were joined on this journey by Marco Maran, who actively collaborated with the studio, designing products for companies such as Ligne Roset, Desalto and Fasem. Their first important national and international awards date from this period. In 1995, Cristian Gori, a designer from the Architecture section of the Art Institute of Siena, also joined the firm. Numerous collaborators followed over the years.

For Archirivolto Design, every project must combine harmony and freedom, breaking free from rigid pre-established rules and the assumption that design is a privilege for the few. For Pocci and Dondoli, the designer's role is to create inclusive and accessible products marketable on a large scale. Guided by a clear business-oriented vision, the office specialises in seating design - from chairs to sofas, stools, and office and outdoor armchairs - and uses technologies and materials, particularly plastic and aluminium, that allow them to achieve optimal aesthetic, functional and economic results. Pocci and Dondoli follow the entire product development process, from market research to the generation of creative ideas to the realisation of prototypes, technical support for the industrialisation of the project, and even accompanying and supporting customers.

In addition to studying the domestic context, Archirivolto Design also experiments with electronics - not only tables, chairs, stools, upholstery and lighting, but also numerous everyday products. At the same time, the office develops architectural projects for residences and public places, participating in national and international competitions.

The office boasts long-standing partnerships with prestigious companies, particularly with Bonaldo, Bontempi, Calligaris, Fasem and Pedrali, and Actiu, Brunner, Connubia, CorteZari, Desalto, HC28 Cosmo, Lago, Midj, Quinti, Segis, Vondom. Their awards include the Top Ten Award 2006 and 2008 from Promosedia Udine; the Interior Innovation Award 2011 and 2014 from IMM Köln; the Red Hot Award 2012 and 2014 from Essen; the IIDA/HD Product Design Competition in Chicago.
